Saudi minister says Russia’s Novak reappointment good for OPEC+

DAVOS, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- The reappointment of Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak is very good for the OPEC plus nonmember oil output reduction deal, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman said on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday.

“This is a decision made by the president and head of the government. We cooperate with the governments, not individuals. But Novak’s reappointment is very goods because it means continuity of the policies, including with our country,” the official said.

He also said he hopes that cooperation with Russia will continue.
